The Digital Technologies Carnival Showcases M-Audio in Russia

M-Audio enjoys distribution in over 70 countries around the world. Optima, the Company’s exclusive distributor in Russia, was recently invited to participate in the Digital Technologies Carnival multi-city roadshow sponsored by Intel, BMW and other heavyweights. This high-tech tour brought the latest in digital audio, video and photography to ten Russian cities—featuring M-Audio hardware, of course.

Each of the ten three-day stops showed attendees how to use the PC to create digital video, audio and photography. Real-time performances were recorded in audio and video to DVD using a single Pentium 4 machine, with M-Audio products such as the Audiphile 2496, Radium61, and BX5 studio reference monitors serving the audio hardware needs. A Digital Home/Studio booth featured vital information on utilizing new digital tools and encouraged participants to try the technologies for themselves.

The consistently successful event attracts approximately 30,000 people per three day show, and to date more than 230,000 Russians have had the opportunity to experience the power of M-Audio in personal music and media production. Way to go, Optima!
