Easily Track Your Sound Files in Live

There’s a great feature in Live that helps you keep track of your sound files. It’s called “Save Set as Self Contained,” and you can find it in the File menu. This places copies of all the audio files in the song in a folder bearing the song’s name, and places the folder next to the song file (ALS). Live will refer to that folder when opening files, so when you copy the song and folder to a CD, it’s quick and easy to take every part of the song with you.
