Packing and Saving Songs in Reason

Reason has a feature that enables you to keep track of your sound files. To access this feature, click on “Song Self Contain Settings” in the File Menu. Reason will then bring up a list of all the ReFills, sounds associated with the ReFills, files such as WAV, AIFF, or ReCycle loops, and synth and sampler patches used in the song. Clicking the check box next to each element will “pack” the element into the song. Once you do this, copying the song (RNS) also copies the associated files. You can later “unpack” the file if desired. Unfortunately, this feature will not pack sounds that are part of ReFills, so you must treat all ReFills as separate entities.
