M-Powered Band SONICFLOOd Releases New Album
Continuing
to build on the momentum of their debut INO release, "Resonate",
Grammy-nominated and gold-selling band SONICFLOOd is releasing "Cry
Holy" in March of 2003. Enlisting the production and songwriting
talents of Marc Byrd (“God of Wonders,” "City on
A Hill: Sing Alleluia") and a variety of M-Audio gear, the
group created an album that showcases a more polished, aggressive
pop sound.
SONICFLOOd used Propellerhead Reason, Ableton Live, the Oxygen8
MIDI keyboard controller, and the Quattro, Omni, and Duo audio interfaces
while recording. “M-Audio was a major part of this record.
The products and support of M-Audio have been invaluable in both
our live performances and studio work,” says Brett Vargason,
SONICFLOOd’s drummer. “We couldn’t have done it
without them.”
The band recently wrapped up their highly attended fall tour where
they worked in conjunction with World Vision to encourage sponsorships
of children in need overseas. They will also continue their long-time
work with World Vision on their Cry Holy tour in 2003. SONICFLOOd
is one of the organization’s top artists, having helped to
secure over 5,000 sponsorships during the course of their relationship.
