Ableton Live: How to Combine Different Takes of a Single Vocal Track
It is common to end up with two or three different takes of a vocal line that you would like to play in chorus. A frequent problem is that each take is not sung perfectly in time. The verses and refrains may be essentially the same musically, but there are often small time differences between them. Live makes playing vocal takes in chorus an easy job.
1. Drag-and-drop the takes into different tracks. If you are working in the Session mode, drop them into different tracks within the same scene. This will enable you to play them together by simply hitting Start Scene.

2. Put the first warp marker on the starting point of the first take and choose the loop length.

3. Set the warp markers of the first take on key positions (such as the beginning of a verse or a refrain).

4. Set warp markers on the other takes in the exact same key positions as you did on the first take.

5. The different vocal takes should now play together in chorus!
